One of our clients, a compelling dynamic and successful startup company in NY, is looking for an Account Manager to launch and grow its strategic partnerships with Fortune 1000 companies.  This is a unique opportunity to join a tremendously growing company with high prestige.

The Account Manager is a key position with ultimate responsibility for account success, from initial sales hand-off to creating a launch plan with marketing communications, managing the day-to-day operations and spearheading ongoing product enhancements for strategic account growth.  This individual will work closely with sales, and will be the communications liaison between the client and the company’s back office operations overseas.

 

We are looking for an energetic, motivated self-starter who is able to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment and to grow new accounts aggressively.  This position requires strong initiative, solid written/verbal communication skills, relationship management expertise, unflagging attention to detail, marketing know-how and an overall commitment to excellence.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responding to customer inquiries via telephone, e-mail/internet and fax
  • Customer interaction is mostly inbound (answering calls) but may be sometimes outbound (making calls).
  • Converting leads into sales: closing the sale on the phone and/or online
  • Post-sales support: customer support and answering inquiries about product usage, opening trouble tickets, communicating with technical support on specific issues.
  • Assisting with the coordination and execution of online and offline marketing campaigns, public relation events and trade shows

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Must have some level of higher education
  • Proven track record servicing large organizations
  • Past account management or customer service experience
  • Past experience working with international clients
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must be computer-savvy, comfortable with technology products/ services
  • Customer service oriented
  • Must be responsible, reliable and patient.
  • Self starter, motivated and multi tasking individual.
  • Willing to work extended hours.
