Oversee, develop, and maintain public communications for Norton Sound Health Corporation in accordance with NSHC policies, procedures, and applicable regulations; Promote positive messages about NSHC by publicizing health care services, programs, board, staff, and activitie;Produce NSHC’s public information newsletter and annual report and write press releases and advertisements in collaboration with departments and administration.
Uphold the organization’s vision, mission, and corporate values. Demonstrate understanding of and compliance with organization’s policies, procedures, code of conduct and work rules.
Essential functions:
Produce bimonthly public information newsletter, articles, photos, and advertisements editing submissions, design layout proofing, printing and distribution
Produce annual report which may involve gathering information and photos, design layout proofing, printing and distribution
Write, edit, and submit press releases and advertisements in cooperation with administration and departments
Submit announcements for local newspapers and various calendars and other publications
Develop, maintain, write material for NSHC internal and external webpages to provide information to employees and public and ensure consistent user-friendly web design; Give final approval for webpages created by staff with content management systems
Coordinate and supervise public relations events and efforts through utilization of the leadership team
