Sales Director – Broadcasting – North America

One of our clients, a media company with global presence, is looking for a Sales Director to manage the company’s sales in North America. The company is a recognized leader in providing broadcasting solutions to the media industry.

Location:  Open to all US states with preference to Northeast (NJ, NY, MA, PA) or California.


The Director’s objective is identifying prospects and generating new sales as well as leveraging existing relationships to expand within current clients.

Main Responsibilities

●     Responsible for business development and opening new sales channels with TV/radio broadcasting companies.

●     Research the target market, identify potential major customers and qualify their needs.

●     Present the company’s services & technical solutions.

●     Prepare and present sales quota based on appropriate technical solutions.

●     Negotiate with potential customers to close deals (including flights and face-to-face meeting, if necessary).

●     Recruit agents and manage the relationship with them.

●     Renew contracts with existing customers.

●     Expand the range of services purchased by existing customers.

●     Control and support the implementation of closed deals with the technical and financial departments.

●     Reports to Senior Director US sales & operation

●     Substantial experience and successful track record in sales roles promoting business software into relevant markets: media, broadcasting or telecommunication.

●     5+ years of experience in building and leading a sales team in large company.

●     5+ years in selling to corporate clients.

●     A hunter, result driven, high performance sales professional.

●     Strong business acumen with demonstrated ability to formulate long-term strategy, in addition to short-term initiatives.

Compensation: 120K-130K base+ bonus+ benefits
